The last day in Jolster,

On the way we back home.

Tomorrow we are going to take a bus to Oslo in the night and leave for next trip.

Nice season for me as the first season.

I liked our house as well.

Hard works,

You might think you are burning  down the metal box in the hot tub.

Every time you warmen the water, you will feel it with your own skin.

look at this smoke we create.

It must be US making weather cloudy and rainy.

It's quite sure watching the amount of smoke we cause.

Kind funny to see our base is built up at the very end of summer.

The last day of school trip,

It's like 21:00

We finished school day trip.

The big work we had this September.

School trip 2,

Coming around our lovely hot tub.

Big one normally takes 5-6 hours.

Small one, probably 4 hours.

We are a small team so that everyone gets busy when we have 30 guests like today.

School trip 1,

We were on quite, nicely busy days. 3days of school trip in late september.

A ton of foods for school kids we had that made them quite happy.

At Voss train station,

Good for us not missing a train though there is a couple of trains go to bergen every hour.

a lot of people coming out of train smoking, stretching their legs.

I liked Voss. city, location, station.

But we are going to take a train to Bergen.

All of us got hang over.

Meeting TABBS,

This guy, talking to a girl is Tabbs.

I met him in Zimbabwe long time ago.

Rafting everyday together.

he seems have found a nice place to come.

This is his 3rd season in Norway.

he is very good at open up beer bottle.

One river trip in Voss,

Yes, This in corrona.

One of the main rapids.

They say it's middle-water so it's not so hard.

High-water should be quite nice.

before this there is anothere nice one "layra" with a big hole.

Take a look at rapids,

We are not going to run this fall in raft.

some of them we will portage.

A lot of portage you need to have on rivers in norway.

Voss rafting sentor,

Finally got to Voss Rafting Senter.

you see these old boats.

their facillities are good.

now we are going to have a scouting before a trip.

Heading toward Voss,

We are in the longest tunnell in the world.

24km in all length and in the tunnell you will see some light-up section.

this blue spot is the first one.

After 18:00 in Sogndal,

So quiet here after 18:00.
No one, no dogs, no cats Nobody.

05:00 in Sogndal,

Walking toward bus terminal in the very early morning.
We had to come back by 09:00 we had 3 busy day in a row.

It was so dark to see I had a hed-light which helped us a lot.

Jolster getting high-water,

I see this river is getting higher.

Sometime,

When Per showed up to our base,
We sometime did BBQ together.
This is when we are starting grilling.

Summer in Jolster,

Such a beautiful day in Vassenden.
On the way to our base,

Getting high water level,

Hole is getting bigger.
we take left-line on this water level.

Next to a hole,

It's not a big deal if you hit this hole when it's middle water level.
But high water level, It'll hard to get out of it.

Haugabreen,

You can see Haugabreen from this point.
We are about take off to Haugabreen.
One hour walk.

On the way to Tronheim,

The name of this town is "STRYN"

some people joined in and some out.
It's still long way up north to Tronheim.

Moon night,

I don't think we have had a lot of moony night in Vassenden.
I couldn't help myself uploading "moon photo" again.
A beautiful night.

Haugabreen glacier,

Glacier walk is much harder than you expect.
We just made our way up almost top of it.
But we had to walk slowly that made walking into treking.
Me and Matt assisted 2 guides today.
I figured guiding on glacier can be harder than river guide.
Taking care of your guest probably you go with more than 10 people.
They all are in rope walking in line.
some time it hard for them to hear you.
and you have no idea who is needing help until you start walking.
Hard work.

Some kayakers,

I guess it was in July.
these 3 guys came to Jolster for kayaking.
I had some time so I showed them around.
And we are now just next to "The Gate"
Nice water level they must have had some fun.

A work,

Okay we call this, "Soup making."
One of our works.
We used to have this work a lot in June, July.
Some people came up for this "Hot tub".
And watching them and making sure their not drown in tub.
Because they normally are in tub with a bottle of beer in their hand.

Dangerous things in Norway,

Appearently looks dangerous things.
It's not so hard to find them around here.

Safty breifing,

One of the owners, Knut is giving guests safty-briefing before we take off.
today we are going to go in 4 rafts.
Looking at the ladder and the plastic sheet on the roof,
makes you understood that we are trying to build the second floor on it.

Paint ball boys,

You are safe in safety zone.
and these boys in cover-all are shot and waiting for 30 second then they are going back to WAR again.

Fortresss in Tronheim,

Came to Fortress in Tronheim.
And I'm looking down city of Tronheim.
Lucky enough not being rained.

In Tronheim,

I'm taking this photo standing on a bridge which connection between a city a lot of students live and their university.
It was in the early morning me and my girl friend was sitting on a chair, observing students rushing toward their class.
These pretty houses made me feel like one more time, I'm in Norway.

Road to Glacier,

On the way to Glacier.
Looks like we are 2 minutes to glacier but it probably took us 30 minutes to get to next to glacier.
What a lucky for us blessed in this nice weather condition.
